Ravens are known for their clever and cunning ways…this illustration depicts a conspiracy of ravens up to some clever antics as expected from these black feathered mischief makers.
The wine packaging is inspired by the three wise monkeys from the Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle of “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. As per the Buddhist teachings – that if we do not hear, see or speak evil, we ourselves shall be spared from evil…but it’s always tricky in a world where there are others that are “pulling our strings” as depicted by the of the two ravens pulling the three wise ravens strings behind the scenes…
The design language displays a dark monotone and moody hand drawn illustration combined with playful custom typography and finished with gold foil.
